Get your business involved

We are keen to work with corporate partners, we know that many businesses have a social conscience and get a real buzz from seeing the difference their support makes to the lives of homeless people.

We work in mutually beneficial partnerships with our corporate supporters. And it’s not all about fundraising; it’s about working with you to enhance our services and achieve your objectives, whether it’s through volunteering or offering expertise.

Leaving a gift in your Will

By making gift to Solas in your Will you can help us to plan for the future with greater confidence and support our continuing mission to help vulnerable and homeless people work towards living more independent lives.

Making a gift to Solas in your Will is simple and straightforward. It is also extremely tax effective as all bequests to charity are exempt from inheritance tax.

How does it work?

A charitable legacy could be a gift of money or of any other assets that you leave behind. While there are a number of options to consider, there are two main types of charitable legacies; pecuniary and residuary. Pecuniary legacies specify a sum of money or item of value to be donated, whilst a residuary legacy allows you to donate a percentage of the net value of your estate or the remaining sum after you have provided for family and friends.
