Albert Street Direct Access, Newport
Albert Street is a 21 bed direct access scheme accessible via self referral at the scheme. The service is staffed 24 hours a day and provides short to medium term accommodation and support solutions.
Clarence Place is a 20 bed scheme providing accommodation and support to people with longer term mental health or substance misuse challenges. The staff team specialise in working with complex needs and in working closely with other agencies to develop transition plans for each person to work towards independent living.
Clifton Place provides 29 high quality self contained bedsits and flats for individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness. This short term accommodation and support scheme is for people in priority housing need, referrals are made by the local authority in Newport.
Dyfrig House provides support for 21 people aged over 18 and is specifically for individuals motivated to move on from substance misuse issues. This service provides 24 hour support in a ‘dry’ setting, referrals are made by Cardiff City Council.
Solas support people to move on from 24 schemes to semi independent living, we have a variety of shared and self contained flats and houses available where people can still received support across the areas in which we work. Each person will be assessed individually to assess their suitability to move on into this accommodation.
