Clifton Place update
Solas are working in partnership with Fairlake, Charter, the Welsh Government and Newport City Council, redeveloping the original Clifton Place scheme. Currently the people we support from this scheme are being housed in the Belmont and Newport Hotel, which are busy, crowded and with very little communal space.
Clifton Place is a beautiful, four storey Victorian building, being restored to its former glory and will become Solas’ flagship scheme. There will be 26 newly renovated rooms, each with their own facilities, as well as a plenty of communal space and a garden.
The completion date is estimated at September 2011.
